Throughout the year we partner with the many resources of the Summit County Community such as the Breckenridge Nature Series, the National Repertory Orchestra, Vail Resorts, and the Breckenridge Recreation Center to further enrich our curriculm.
Since our opening in 2006, Breckenridge Montessori has veen proud to receive an Excellence in Childcare Award from Summit County, a Full Membership Level Award from the American Montessori Society, a Three Star (out of 4) Qualistar Rating Award from Qualistar Early Learning, an Eco-Healthy CHildcare Designation by the Oregon Environmental Council, and successful completion of the Program Administration Scale for Early Childhood Leadership and Management.
HISTORY/CURRENT PROGRAMS
Breckenridge Montessori opened its doors to students in September 2006, and currently enrolls 24 children. We offer a year-round program providing consistent quality education for the children of Summit County.
At Breckenridge Montessori, our classroom environment consists of practical life activities, sensorial materials, mathematics, language, geography, art, music, nature education, gross and fine motor development, socio-emotional development, and cultural extensions. All food provided to our students is organic.
